The Siracusa 3D reborn is a 3D virtual journey into Greek Siracusa: a historical-cultural film that tells the centuries in which the city was the artistic and cultural capital of the Mediterranean

A multi-lingual Virtual Journey, lasting 25 minutes, which through sophisticated reconstructions in CGI by IBAM – Institute for Archaeological and Monumental Heritage, tells the centuries when Siracusa was the artistic and cultural capital of the Mediterranean.

The historical-cultural film presents itself as a unique experience in stereoscopic 3D, usable through active glasses, which impresses in the memory of the viewer the beauty and richness of the places visited. With detailed reconstructions and faithful to the historical architectural context of reference, you can admire the main sacred areas, the urban layout of the ancient city and the historical events in relation to the most important political personalities of the time.

The Syracuse 3D reborn is an integration for your tourist offer: the reconstructions in computer graphics narrated by an archaeologist allow you to complete the guided tours creating a deeper emotional impact with the visitor.
The film also won the first international award for best film at the Vienna Cultural Heritage and New Technologies Conference. The reconstructions were brought to the attention of the general public with the publication in issue 114 of Focus History.

The video is available in 7 simultaneous languages: Italian, English, French, Spanish, German, Russian and Japanese.
