Pristine beaches, wildlife oases and natural paradises.
The great and beautiful Siracusa enchants not only for its rich cultural heritage, but also for the corners of nature that can satisfy everyone's needs.

The Pantalica reserve is of great historical, natural and landscape interest, the visitor is totally immersed in unspoiled nature, fascinated by the unique play of light and shadow recreated by the white stone and dense vegetation.
If you visit Siracusa in summer, we recommend that you dedicate a day to discovering the oasis.

Reaching the reserve on foot presents some difficulties, but the splendid naturalistic scenarios will repay your effort.

Sea lovers and snorkelers, Siracusa is a riot of spectacular views and crystal clear sea.

14 km of coastline extend from Punta della Mola to Punta Milocca: it is the protected marine area of Plemmirio.

From Punta Mole a suggestive path opens up that leads to the Maddalena peninsula. Characteristic inlet on the sea with overhanging rocky crags, dominated by the Pellegrino cave, rich in stalactites and stalagmites.

Beautiful beaches also characterize the Vendicari reserve.

In Calamosche, you will find a crystalline and constantly calm sea, thanks to the rocky promontories that shelter the cove from the currents.
And the Eloro beach will amaze you with its fine sand surrounded by Mediterranean scrub and freshwater marshes.

In spring and autumn the reserve comes to life. Flocks of migratory birds and passionate birdwatchers who, equipped with a telescope, are enchanted by the colored feathers in flight.

Migratory birds also stop in the marshes of the Ciane river reserve.
The reserve is known above all for the presence of papyrus. Only here, the papyrus grows spontaneously together with many other aquatic species.

You will be able to cover a long stretch by bicycle or on foot, and enjoy a regenerating walk among the flourishing Mediterranean vegetation and the rich fauna. Herons, ducks, flamingos, as well as toads, trout and various crustaceans find refuge along the river.

And for those who stay in the city there is no lack of the opportunity to walk among the typical plants of the Mediterranean scrub or observing the cobalt blue sea.

An "exotic garden" collects and collects rare plants. Getting lost in the avenues of Villa Reimann, among unique panoramas, the scent of orange blossoms and colorful flowers, is a pleasure for all the senses.

In the heart of the city, we invite you to discover the popular “Foro Siracusano”.
For the citizens of Arezzo it is "Villini", the public garden consisting of flower beds and flower-filled paths and a play area reserved for children.

Facing the sea, on the Dionysus promenade, there is a green area, characterized by palm trees and benches, which surrounds the imposing War Memorial in Carrara marble and white stone. Sitting on one of the benches, turning your gaze to the horizon, you can admire the sea that envelops the city in an endless embrace.
