The city bus service is provided by the Sicilian Transport Company (AST). In addition to connecting Ortigia with the other Syracusan districts, with the AST buses you can reach Fanusa, the Plemmirio Marine Protected Area, Arenella and the seaside resort of Fontane Bianche. To facilitate tourist travel without forgetting the attention to the environment around us, the ecological shuttles of the municipality of Syracuse allow you to reach the main places of interest and shopping areas.

Moving in Ortigia with “Siracusa d’amare”

The "Siracusa d’amare" electric shuttles run through three lines of different colors (Blue-Ortigia; Red-Neapolis and Green-Dionisol il Grande) every day from 7.00 to 22.00. From Friday to Sunday from 22.00 to 2.00, the Blue route is crossed by the 1N Viola - Notturno line.
